Carpet cleaning is a complex and branching issue.
There are many types of rugs. In this article we will refer to floor rugs and regular rugs ("regional rugs"). A rug is basically any fabric that is woven by hand or machine and is laid on the floor.
Over the years, an industry of importing special rugs from the East developed.
Handmade rugs, and especially rugs from the East that are made from less processed materials, are delicate rugs that need to be cleaned carefully. There are carpets whose colors are unstable and over time color slides are formed. In this case it is important to note that the cleaning does not aggravate the paint slips.
There are other carpets that do not require extreme care but on the contrary - a more massive cleaning. For example, shaggy rugs and other rugs with relatively long fibers tend to accumulate a lot of dust and dirt, and it is important to clean them at least once a year with deep cleaning beyond the home cleaning of the vacuum cleaner. Naturally, it is necessary to use some water and detergents, drying takes longer, so it is usually not possible to clean this type of carpet at home but we prefer to collect the carpet and clean it in the factory.
In the process of cleaning carpets from floor to floor preparation is very very important - the first step is good suction.
There are professional vacuum cleaners - they are not similar to Dyson household vacuum cleaners for example. These are dedicated and special vacuum cleaners for cleaning carpets. They have a "vacuum cleaner": the machine combs the carpet, collects hairs, crumbs, food scraps and large dust crumbs that do not vacuum the house.
After thoroughly vacuuming the carpet itself we vacuum the panels, get down on the knees with a particularly narrow handle and vacuum the panels from top to bottom, where a lot of dust and dirt residue usually concentrates.
After pumping, we identify the problem areas that need to be treated in a targeted manner before the general treatment - with the help offruit spray as in cleaning sofas.
Where does the soil tend to concentrate?
In areas where there is a lot of walking: on the first steps and generally in the center of each step, in the center of the corridor, where you usually walk more than on the sides of the corridor.
At the entrance and exit of the bathrooms and toilets, where there is usually a concentration of dirty water that creates the stains, and treats them separately similar to cleaning sofas, each stain has its own special material.
After treating stains in the form of fruit spray, early spraying, we usually work with a dry foam brush machine. Some rugs are suitable for use with a polishing machine with brushes and dry foam, and other rugs skip this step. The operation of the machine is brushing and rubbing together.
The fourth stage is the main stage, similar to cleaning sofas: at this stage large injection molding machines are used, which wash the carpets. The rinsing is done as in sofas - hot water injection, and at the same time strong pumping (suction) of the water, dirt and detergents and so on. This is done several times until the carpet is clean. Finally after the carpet has absorbed the soap we vacuum it well, until the carpet is damp. In floor-to-ceiling carpets, air meters or air blowers are almost always turned on after cleaning, drying the carpet quickly, between three and eight hours until completely dry.
There is nothing like a clean and soft rug under bare feet ...
